We celebrate over 50 birthdays at camp every summer. If your son will be celebrating a birthday at camp, we will be in touch with you prior to the start of the summer with more detailed information. The bunk and their counselors will enjoy a pizza party in the Canteen, followed of course, by ice cream for dessert. The birthday boy gets to pick a movie to watch during the celebration and the bunk will also be able to play in the game room.
Although not required, if you would like to send something special for the party (i.e. goodie bags for the bunk) it must be from a nut-free facility. Below is a list of nut-free facilities where parents have purchased treats for the party. All gifts and party favors should be sent to Josh, Joe or Carrie’s attention a few days before the celebration. Keep in mind that all food must be consumed at the party and may not be brought back to the bunk. Contact Kaybirds in Hancock, NY (607-637-2962) if you would like helium balloons at the party.
Parents are expected to make the birthday phone call to camp at 9:30 AM, on the big day. If you are unable to call camp at 570-798-2511 at this time, please call Steve to make alternate arrangements.
